Sleep & Settling
Is your baby tired but still unable to settle?
One of the hardest things as a parent is watching your baby look exhausted while still struggling to sleep. Many parents spend hours feeding, rocking, bouncing or holding their baby, only to find sleep remains difficult.
You may have been told it is normal, that your baby will grow out of it, or that you simply need to keep trying. Yet something still feels harder than it should.
Sometimes sleep challenges are not simply about sleep. Birth experiences, body tension, nervous system overwhelm, reflux, feeding difficulties and early stress can all influence how easily a baby settles and stays asleep.
Every baby is different. Many babies respond positively when their body is given an opportunity to settle and release tension.
You may be noticing:
• Difficulty falling asleep
• Frequent waking
• Short naps
• Contact naps only
• Startling awake easily
• Restless sleep
• Difficulty being put down
• Waking shortly after settling
• Needing constant movement to sleep
• Looking tired but unable to relax
• Early morning waking
• Difficulty transitioning between sleep cycles
How I Can Help
Using Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, I offer gentle support for babies and families during the early weeks and months after birth.
Many parents seek support when sleep feels harder than expected, when their baby seems unable to fully relax, or when everyone in the family is becoming exhausted.
Sessions are tailored to your baby's individual story, experiences and needs.
Things do not have to stay this hard forever.
