Sleep & Settling
Is your baby tired but still unable to settle?
Many parents arrive feeling exhausted, worried and unsure why their baby finds it so difficult to sleep and settle.
You may have tried feeding, rocking, patting, walking and holding your baby for hours, yet they still seem unable to fully relax.
Sleep struggles are often the symptom.
The cause may lie deeper within the body and nervous system.
Birth experiences, body tension, nervous system overwhelm, digestive discomfort and early stress can all influence how comfortably a baby settles and sleeps.
Some babies seem tired all day yet continue waking frequently, become unsettled when put down, or only sleep when being held.
You may be noticing:
• Frequent waking
• Short naps
• Difficulty settling
• Only sleeping when held
• Waking when put down
• Restless sleep
• Arching or body tension
• Difficulty relaxing
• Unsettled evenings
• Sleep that feels harder than it should
Every baby has their own story.
Sometimes there may be more going on underneath the behaviour than we can see.
How I Can Help
Using Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, I offer gentle support for babies and families during the early weeks and months after birth.
Many parents seek support when sleep feels harder than expected, when their baby seems unable to fully relax, or when they simply feel something is not quite right.
Sessions are tailored to your baby's individual story, experiences and needs.
By supporting the body and nervous system, we create the conditions for greater ease, comfort and regulation.

From One Mum to Another
"By the second session my daughter's sleep had improved immensely."
Before coming to see Sandra, my daughter was waking frequently and struggling with sleep.
After two sessions, sleep improved significantly and both my daughter and I felt much more settled.
"Sandra was a joy to be around, fantastic with my baby and gave me tools to continue supporting her."
