About Sandra
Why do families come to see me?
Many parents arrive feeling exhausted, overwhelmed and unsure what else to try.
Their baby may be struggling with feeding, sleep, reflux, body tension, car seat distress or settling.
They have often been told everything is normal.
Yet something still does not feel right.
You know your baby best.
If your gut is telling you something is not right, it is worth listening to.
For many years I have supported babies, children and parents using Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy.
Again and again, I see that sometimes there is more going on underneath the behaviour.
Birth experiences, pregnancy stress, body tension and nervous system overwhelm can all influence how a baby experiences the world.
My role is to listen to your family's story, support your nervous systems and create the conditions for greater comfort, ease and regulation
Things do not have to stay this hard forever.
How I Work
Using Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, I offer gentle, non-invasive support for babies, children and parents.
Sessions are guided by your family's individual story and what is most important for you right now.
For babies under 8 weeks of age, I often support both mum and baby within the same session. During these early weeks, babies and parents are still adapting together, and supporting both can create an opportunity for greater ease, regulation and connection for the whole family.
Every baby is unique.
Every parent is unique.
Every family is unique.
Support is tailored to your individual story and circumstances.
You may be looking for support with:
• Feeding Difficulties
• Sleep & Settling
• Reflux & Digestive Discomfort
• Unsettled Babies
• Body Tension
• Birth Experiences
• Car Seat Distress
• Pregnancy Support

Supporting Both Mum and Baby
Supporting your baby sometimes starts with supporting you.
Many parents come looking for support for their baby and discover they need support too.
Pregnancy, birth, feeding challenges, sleep deprivation and the demands of early parenthood can leave even the most capable parent feeling exhausted, overwhelmed or disconnected from themselves.
Babies and parents are deeply connected. Babies look to their parents for safety, comfort and regulation. When a parent is carrying stress, exhaustion or the effects of a challenging pregnancy or birth, the whole family can feel it.
This is not about blame.
It is about recognising that babies and parents do not exist in isolation. Supporting one often supports the other.
Many families find that supporting both mum and baby creates the greatest opportunity for change.
You may be noticing:
• Feeling overwhelmed
• Difficulty relaxing
• Anxiety or worry
• Feeling emotionally exhausted
• Birth experiences that still feel unresolved
• Difficulty switching off
• Feeling disconnected from yourself
• Constantly being in caregiver mode
• Feeling like you have lost yourself
• Carrying the mental load for everyone around you
How I Can Help
Using Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy, I offer gentle support for mums navigating pregnancy, birth recovery, overwhelm and the challenges of early parenthood.
For babies under 8 weeks of age, I often support both mum and baby within the same session. During these early weeks, babies and parents are still adapting together.
Supporting both can create an opportunity for greater ease, regulation and connection for the whole family.
Sessions provide an opportunity to slow down, reconnect with your body and support your nervous system during a time of significant change.

Frequently Asked Questions
It's natural to have questions when considering support for your baby or family. Here are some of the questions parents ask most often.
Will Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy hurt my baby?
No.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive therapy that does not involve manipulation, stretching or cracking.
Sessions are guided by your baby's needs and comfort throughout.
Occasionally babies may cry during a session. Crying is one of the ways babies communicate and all emotions are welcome. You are always encouraged to respond to your baby in whatever way feels right for you.
Is Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy safe for babies?
Yes.
Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive approach that is widely used with babies, children and adults.
Sessions are always guided by your baby's comfort and needs.
What age babies do you see?
I support babies from the newborn period onwards, as well as children, pregnant women and parents.
Do I need to wake my baby or time a feed before the session?
No.
Your baby can be awake, asleep, feeding, cuddling or playing during the session.
Many babies feed during treatment, but it is not essential.
Can I feed my baby during the session?
Absolutely.
Breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, cuddling and comforting your baby is encouraged during a session.
What if my baby cries during the session?
Crying is one of the ways babies communicate.
Some babies sleep throughout a session, while others may cry, feed, move around or need extra cuddles.
All of these responses are welcome.
Sessions follow your baby's needs rather than expecting your baby to fit into a particular process.
What happens during a session?
The session begins with a conversation about your concerns and your family's story.
Treatment is gentle, baby-led and tailored to your individual needs.
Babies may sleep, feed, move around, cuddle, cry or settle during a session. All of these responses are welcome.
How many sessions will my baby need?
Every baby and family is unique.
Many families notice meaningful changes within 2 sessions. Some babies benefit from a third session depending on their history and individual needs.
This is something we can discuss together during your appointment.
How soon might I notice changes?
Every baby is different.
Some families notice changes after the first session, while for others changes occur more gradually over time.
The pace of change can depend on your baby's history, current needs and individual circumstances.
Do you support both mum and baby?
Yes.
For babies under 8 weeks of age, I often support both mum and baby within the same session.
During these early weeks, babies and parents are still adapting together and supporting both can create an opportunity for greater ease, regulation and connection for the whole family.
For babies over 8 weeks of age, I often begin by supporting mum first for part of the session. A calmer, more settled parent can become a valuable resource for their baby.
What concerns do families commonly seek support for?
Many families seek support for:
• Feeding Difficulties
• Sleep & Settling
• Reflux & Digestive Discomfort
• Body Tension
• Birth Experiences
• Car Seat Distress
• Side Preference
• Unsettled Babies

Do you offer support during pregnancy?
Yes.
Many women seek support during pregnancy to help with overwhelm, stress, physical discomfort, preparation for birth and nervous system regulation.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes.
Gift vouchers are available and can be a thoughtful gift for a new parent, baby or family member who may benefit from additional support.
